The train journey from Calicut to Agra takes you across the diverse landscapes and cultures of India. Start with the lush greenery of Kerala, then pass through different states, cities and changing scenery. It's a relaxing way to travel, meet fellow travellers and enjoy the unique charm of Indian Railways.

The Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, is renowned for its white marble, detailed craftsmanship and timeless beauty, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Agra Fort, with its massive red sandstone walls, grand palaces and courtyards, was once the main residence of the Mughal emperors.

Delhi combines magnificent monuments with the energy of modern life. See India Gate, a war memorial and symbol of courage and remembrance, the grand Mughal-era Red Fort, and nearby Jama Masjid, one of India's most historic mosques with its large courtyard and spiritual atmosphere.

Qutub Minar is known for its towering structure and detailed carvings. The Lotus Temple welcomes visitors of all backgrounds for a moment of calm. Then it's time for Sarojini Market and Karol Bagh, full of clothing, accessories and footwear at great prices, before boarding the train home.
